It's not fair that she gets blamed for everything.
Gwen is SO the best! I hated that in Action Trent went crazy and started throwing challenges for her. Despite have the loner and goth title she is such a wonderful character and my personal favorite. She saved lives in the show multiple times! And she cares so much for the earth and animals. She cares so much about others and wants everyone to just get along. Gwen is gorgoeus, kind, sensitive, and a badass. She should've won TDI because Izzy cheated. Whereas, I think she's pretty, outspoken, and very independent.
And I hate the fact in TDI that Heather always called her "Weird Goth Girl" But she's not a weird goth girl! Sure, sometimes she wants to be alone, but that doesn't mean she's GOTH. Sadly, Gwent ended because Gwen thought their relationship was going to far. But I just feel like everyone is hating on her for kissing Courtney's ex (Duncan) And poor Gwen is getting forced for stuff, for example: In TDA, Justin, and the other Gaffers wanted to vote out Trent for winning challenges for her, and they said that she had to VOTE Trent out. Gwen is such a great character! But I still can't forget the fact that she kissed Courtney's boyfriend! But, I just feel like it was mistake anyways. Most people just didn't have neutral feelings towards the girl You can either love, need, be obsessed with or hate her. I find it funny that the campers may have constantly misunderstood her but she still always seemed to leave a mark where she went.
And besides, she was one heck of an effective/ successful contestant. Even if at first she may seem harsh, she was very kind hearted and almost always meant well and that, to me, was the most beautiful thing about her tbh. But I always liked the fact that she was tough or independant when she needed to be and that she was comfortable being just herself. Even though he fell off in season 5, he has always been my favorite and he always will be.He deserved the season 2 win. I voted for duncan because he has been my favorite since the beginning. Also he is against authority of any kind. He never tries to start a really aggressive conflict, but if he is involved in one, he will use all of his force to make it to the top. One great thing I like about him that I didn't notice before is that he uses the non aggression principle. He is willing to stand up to anybody who stands in his way and isn't afraid to take action. He hates it when people tell him what to do, and questions authority all of the God damn time. Not because he is an edgy, but because he has very libertarian views. I like Duncan because I can relate with him. The biggest difference is that he's more intimidating (no offense guys). He's the kind of guy who I could easily respect, and he just might be like my guy friends and stand with me in a time of need. A lot of my interests are considered to be dangerous by the norm of society, basically I'm a lot like Gwen. Despite being cast out by my classmates I can actually see myself getting along with Duncan just fine. I had a huge crush on him when I was a kid, I still do now at 16! This may shock people but Canadian high schools are like American ones on HBO, with more sex, and I'm one of the unfortunate kids who is bullied constantly to the point where I've had to file a restraining order.

I felt like Duncan's character drastically changed later on in the series but he remains one of Total Drama's greatest characters all the same! His rebellious bad boy nature is just something you can not move on without thinking about!

Plus I liked his relationship with Courtney! She is so sexy and hot and I love how she bosses Duncan around for always playing the cool, laid back prankster guy! I felt so sorry for her when Duncan fell for Gwen. I absolutely LOVE how He's so rude, rebellious, and an amazing rule-breaker on the outside but a caring, friendly person on the outside who cares for his friends like Geoff and DJ and is open to relationships. Duncan is one of the best characters in Total Drama! Why? His Rebel personality is just something that you have to love! I love how he has to always play the bad boy and pull pranks on anyone he doesn't like! (P.S.
